Updates

Hi everyone - I know there have been questions surrounding indoor. Teams will be posted after Thaksgiving. Please remember these teams are absolutely no indication of what or if you'll make a team in February. There is no need for uniforms as a t-shirt will be provided for you. Everyone will need black shorts and black socks. First games are the week school resumes in January. Conditioning will begin the in the middle of January and will take place on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Listen to announcements and stay tuned to this page for further info. I'm looking forward to getting started! 2014 is going to be awesome!

Indoor Update

Spots are filling fast for indoor!  Get your forms and $$ in ASAP!  Deadline is next Friday but we are down to our last few spots and I expect those to be gone by early next week. Please know, if for any reason you cannot afford to pay for indoor, scholarships are available to everyone. Contact me privately to talk about this. 

2013/2014 Preseason Meeting

Anyone interested in trying out for girls soccer in the spring of 2014 should attend a short, informational meeting tomorrow, October 10th, at 8:00 am in the wrestling room.  Indoor soccer, conditioning, and tryout information will all be discussed at this meeting.  If you are unable to attend and want more info, either visit the athletic/attendance office or email me at rvhsgirlssoccer@yahoo.com.  See you all there!!

Golf Ball Drop Update

I hope everyone enjoyed their week off! I'm so excited to get going again this week with practice and games!

Update on the golf ball drop:
I need all donations to me by Wednesday of this week. I will be at practice tomorrow from 3-4:45 at RV. Varsity has a game on Tuesday so I will be at NAAC but will be back at RV on Wednesday for practice. You can drop them to me there, or you can email me at rvhsgirlssoccer@yahoo.com and I can give you my address and you can drop it off on my front porch any time. Again, make sure your players name is on the donation so I can give them credit.

We are currently at about $3100. We need to get moving!!! Email me if you want to know how many balls you have sold. If you have cash or checks to turn in, your player can bring them to practice to me. Please create a sheet that says your players name, the person who bought the balls, how many balls, and how they paid - cash or check. I need this with the loose money if you are not sending it directly to the fundraising guy.

Thank you to everyone for your donations so far. There are really great prizes this year.

Remember - the event Saturday starts at 5:30 and the golf ball drop is at 6:30. We should be all finished up by 7:00.

Level 3 Game Today Postponed

Level 3 game vs. Columbine has been postponed today. Game will now be played on 3/21 at 4:00 @ Columbine.

YMCA today

We are back at the YMCA today.  Make sure you have cleats and tennis shoes.  See you there as soon as you can get there after school.  Everyone needs to plan on tryouts going through Saturday.  We will tryout on Saturday and possibly do cuts and teams on Saturday as well.

Tryouts at the YMCA today

We are a go to shovel and use the YMCA today! Yahoo! So any parents that can help, let's meet over at the YMCA at noon with your shovels. We can only shovel the top layer of snow so that we don't mess up the black things in the turf. Let me know here, or email me if you are planning on showing up. I soooooo appreciate it!!! And, obviously for any girls reading this, tryouts are at the YMCA today.
